Make a difference! Join the Student Government Association (SGA).
- Promote good relations and understanding among students, administration, faculty, and trustees;
- Unify the student body in the development of self-government and good citizenship; and
- Set high ethical standards for students through responsible conduct.
The SGA is the primary campus student organization. Duly constituted to represent the interest of students, the SGA gives direction to student life beyond the classroom. It is responsible for developing and administering the annual Student Activities Fund Budget that supports the student activities program.
Any curriculum student taking at least six credit hours who is in good academic standing may serve as an SGA Senator.
Information regarding the Student Government Association election process and Intent to Run forms will become available in Spring 2027 (March 15th-26th). Students interested in serving in a leadership role are encouraged to check back for important dates, eligibility requirements, and application materials.
